What a great day!  The place was fairly buzzing! Congratulations to all the winners.

We had 26 couples out on the course.  It was really nice to see the course and clubhouse so busy.

The deteriorating weather did not seem to dampen the players’ enthusiasm on the day.  The course was in good condition and held up well.

The clubhouse was looking good and many people commented upon its appearance.  Once inside everyone was well catered for by Jimmy and Helene.  Helene’s homemade scones just melt in your mouth!  Very naughty but at least the exercise of going round the course helped work off those calories.

Everything seemed to go smoothly making things easy for the organisers.

Many thanks to Scott and the course volunteers for their hard work, to the ladies who keep the clubhouse frontage looking so smart, to Jimmy and Helene for their excellent unflappable service and to all those who helped on the day and donated raffle prizes.

Lastly, thanks to all the entrants for coming and sharing our course with us.  Pity you didn’t see all the stunning views but at least you had the exercise and the good company.  We hope to see you all again next year.
